Lina and Jeff, July 14th

Lina and Jeff got married at Robinswood House, a small but scenic estate in Bellevue. During the last wedding we photographed there, it rained unexpectedly (but luckily they had a tent for backup!). Rain was threatened briefly at Lina's wedding, but it did not materialize, and the weather turned out to be beautiful.

We took some pictures first at the W Hotel where both Jeff and Lina got ready:

One of the most fun parts of the day, for me, is "playing" with the bride and groom, and getting some fun romantic shots. The first picture below is one of mine that I tried a new experiment in photoshop on it of adding texture. The master of this technique is the very inspirational Jesh de Rox. Texture can add another dimension and, if used well, more meaning, to an image. In this picture, I used it to emphasize the drama of the foliage above them. The second couple shot is from Bob-- he really wanted to capture Lina and Jeff, and Robinswood House, and the dramatic sky. I like it because it feels very fashion-y to me.

I just love kids at weddings:

Lina and Jeff were very cute dancing together at the reception:

Congratulations, Jeff and Lina!
