Happy Anniversary, Laura and James!
Laura and James had a beautiful ceremony and reception on Whidbey Island. The weather was perfect, and all the guests seemed to be having a great time. Laura was in the process of starting a homemade chocolate business, and had made favors for everyone-- over 400 chocolates! They were delicious.This was my first attempt at this effect, which I have reproduced for several brides since. I like how it looks like they are stepping into their future together:
Laura during the first dance. Although she thought she was "unphotogenic," she was anything but on her wedding day. Vibrant and happy and beautiful, she was a joy to photograph.
This little girl's mother was rushing to get her "out of my way," but she WAS the picture:
